THE MOST IMPORTANT MIDTERM ELECTION OF OUR LIVES

In just three days, we can make history, change the face of our government and elect leaders who will lift up all of us. 

I challenge you to step up and help over the next several days. Every phone call we make, every door we knock, every person we talk to brings us closer to winning on Election Day.

Choose a candidate(s) we have endorsed and volunteer your time this weekend.

That’s how we’re going to take back Congress and win critical state races (like electing James Smith for Governor of S.C.) and local races which are the foundation of the communities where we live. It’s how we’re going to put a check on Donald Trump’s power. And it’s how we’re going to get Columbia and Washington working for all of us.

That’s why I’m asking you to do something really important right now — take a moment and learn which candidates SC Equality and SC Equality PAC has endorsed this year.

Your Vote is Your Voice!  It’s your opportunity to make a decision for yourself that impacts your future. We have come so far and broken down so many barriers for full lived equality to now seeing all of our advancements being erased.  We have an opportunity on Tuesday to send a clear and loud message that we are a force to be reckoned with and we can make that known by doing one simple thing…….VOTE.

This is what democracy is about. It’s about us getting out and voting. It’s about us volunteering so we can build power from the grassroots up. And, ultimately, it’s about us holding our government accountable when it chooses to protect the power of some who wish to discriminate against the LGBTQ community instead of building a future for ALL of us.

Together, we can make South Carolina a state where Equal truly does Mean Everyone.
